Licensed Psychologist

Alex Brown

Dr. Alex Brown is a licensed psychologist, member of the Behavioral Health Faculty at the Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in New Hampshire, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Community and Family Medicine at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine. Dr. Brown is trained in health psychology and behavioral medicine. He helps patients develop strategies to work through changes that will benefit their health.

Mindfulness Instructor

Margaret Fletcher

Margaret Fletcher is a Mindfulness instructor at East Coast Mindfulness www.eastcoastmindfulness.com. She was a founding member of our ACLP team and created the Mindfulness/Stress Reduction curriculum pillar of our course. Margaret taught mindfulness and trained mindfulness teachers at the Center for Mindfulness located at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is certified to teach MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and is a founding member of the NH Professional Mindfulness Community. Margaret holds a Master’s degree in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College.

Registered Dietician

Traci Komorek

Traci Komorek has been a registered dietician for 15 years. She helps cancer survivors develop diets that promote healing. Traci has taught the ACLP Diet classes for the in-person course since 2012.

Registered Nurse and Certified Exercise Physiologist

Lynne Avery

Lynne Avery is a registered nurse, and has been credentialed by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Exercise Physiologist. Her work involves helping people incorporate healthy lifestyle changes. She created an exercise class specifically for cancer survivors. Lynne helped create the in-person version of the ACLP Fitness module and has taught it since 2011.

Green Living Expert

Deb DeMoulpied

Deb DeMoulpied is a Green Living Expert. She has a Master’s degree in Education, and was the founder of an environmental green goods store in New Hampshire. In order to choose the cleanest possible products for her store, Deb spent years researching and vetting companies and products so that her customers could be confident that the brands she carried were the safest ones available. Deb created the in-person version of the ACLP Environment pillar and has taught it since 2011.
